Check in & Check out

What are the arrival and departure times?

On the day of arrival, the room will be available from 3:00 pm. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 am.

In order to guarantee you a pleasant - and if desired  contactless arrival, we offer you the following:

  • please send us all your details in advance;
  • send us your requests, suggestions or allergy information by email;
  • to pay cashless.

Late check-out

You are welcome to extend your stay with us. We reserve the right to charge €20.00 per person for the use of the Mountain Spa on the day of departure. Late check-out including use of the room is possible subject to availability. This will be charged € 50.00 per person including the use of our EDELWEISS Mountain Spa.

Cancellation policy

What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 6 weeks before arrival.
From 41 days to 3 days before arrival we charge 50% of the total accommodation price.
From 2 days before arrival & no-show we charge 100% of the total accommodation price.

 

Cancellation protection
To avoid unnecessary cancellation costs, we recommend that you take out the "European Travel Insurance".
 

How can I pay?

You can pay with cash, debit card, Visa, Mastercard or American Express card. Your reservation is only confirmed after a deposit of 50% of the total price of your stay.

How much is the local tax?

Adults: € 2.30 per night
Children up to 15 years do not pay local tax

How many restaurants are there in DAS EDELWEISS?

DAS EDELWEISS offers a variety of restaurant options. In addition to our half board, we also serve the finest dishes in our steak restaurant "Sirloin Grill & Dine" and in our Asian fusion cuisine "Sakura". The perfect change for your lunch.
Furthermore, our house and day guests have the opportunity to savour our gourmet menu in the "Hoamat 78" and in our spacious Alpine Lounge. Our tip: the Sushi Bar!
 

Is there also a special children's meal?

We offer our little guests special toddler and children's buffets. These are balanced and are well loved by the children.

How big is the wellness area?

Our EDELWEISS Mountain Spa extends over 7,000 m2  covering 5 floors and offers separate areas for families and couples. We invite you to explore it all and enjoy pure relaxation for yourself.
 

What water worlds are there?

Infinity pool (indoor & outdoor) / sports pool / indoor pool / plunge pool / saltwater pool / indoor whirlpool / family whirlpool / baby pool

Where can I get a massage?

Our Beauty Mountain Spa team will endeavour to provide you with individual and competent advice every day so that you can really enjoy the added value of rest and relaxation.

Family holidays

Which rooms are perfect for families?

Our Family Suites are the ideal retreat for young and old. Separate sleeping areas offer children and parents their own space to retreat and relax.

Are there children's play areas?

In future, children and teenagers will be able to let off steam on over 1,000 square metres in the redesigned and enlarged EDELWEISS Kinderwelt: Baby Mountain Area, EDELWEISS Prinzenland, Young Mountain Area, Cool Mountain Area.
A handful of loving carers, little explorers and lots of fun are combined in the children's play areas of our hotel in the Salzburger Land. 

Is childcare available?

Daily loving care from 0 years (extra charge) in our EDELWEISS Kinderwelt and from 3 years are included in the price.

Do you have a family spa?

Plenty of wonderful holiday highlights await our families in the newly designed Family Mountain Spa: children of all ages can play to their heart's content in our water world.

Are there bathrobes for children?

Yes, there is a bathrobe and slippers in the right size for each child in the room.

Adults Only areas

Is there an adults-only spa area?

For those seeking peace and quiet, we have created spacious Adults Only areas.
Find peace and quiet in our heat and water world on the 3rd and 5th floors for adults only.

Are there private spa suites?

Look forward to our exclusive Adults Only Suites with private spa for a holiday full of relaxation & closeness.

Mobility

Where can I park?

A free car park awaits you in our comfortable and spacious underground car park. This ensures a pleasant and convenient journey for you. The entrance is on the street side to the right of the hotel.
We recommend parking directly in the underground car park when you arrive and then entering the Alpinlounge conveniently via the beautiful entrance and checking in at the spacious reception desk.

 

Are there e-charging stations?

We are close to nature and we want it to stay that way. That is why we invite you to charge your car in our own underground car park with electric charging stations for a fee. Nothing can stand in the way of a comfortable start to your holiday.
 

Can I rent a car?

Our guests benefit from a partnership with MERCEDES-BENZ that is unique in Austria. The latest models are available for you to test drive free of charge during your stay!
 

How far is it to Salzburg?

Salzburg can be reached in less than an hour by car via the A10. Distance: 60km

Does the hotel offer sports?

Yoga, hikes, workouts, personal training and much more are offered as part of our activity programme.
You can also work on your strength training in our fitness room

Where can I rent and park my mountain bike?

The bike rental Sport Panorama is located very close to the hotel.

DAS EDELWEISS has a bike depot with its own washing facility and enough space so that you don't have to take your bike to your room :)

How many alpine pastures are there in the Großarltal?

There are 40 managed alpine pastures, which hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers are warmly invited to visit.

Where can I rent, store and dry my ski equipment?

Our in-house ski rental EDELSPORTS Rental offers you the opportunity to reserve the right equipment before you arrive. HERE you can find your dream skis or board from an exclusive and wide selection. Payment is made on site at check-out with your room bill.

Each room in our ski depot has its own locker with enough storage space for ski boots, helmets, gloves and skis. The next day you can enjoy dry and warm ski boots.

Dogs at DAS EDELWEISS

Can I bring my dog?

Your beloved four-legged friend is very welcome here.
Your dog will be charged € 30.00 up to a shoulder height of 30 cm and € 60.00 for a shoulder height of 30 cm or more per day. To make your pet feel at home with us, we are happy to provide a dog basket with blanket and a ‘welcome treat’ pack. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
